I've been listening to a sermon series by Jeff Crippen of Christ Reformation Church on domestic violence and other abuses. 

"Before we can deal with an abuser we have to get these logs out of our eyes...lots of them."

"The Christian church has not done a good job in helping the victims of abuse. In fact we harbor abusive people. Why is that? This is suppose to be the pillar and support of truth."
